Michelle joined BlueCHP in 2018 as Administration Manager for the Hunter Residences Program, a project that delivered 66 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) dwellings across the Hunter Region of New South Wales. Following the completion of this project, Michelle was promoted to the role of BlueCHP SDA Housing Specialist, where she established BlueCHP’s Specialist Disability Housing division and formed the Guide You Home (GYH) initiative. Michelle developed the GYH Seven-Step Process, a Participant-led approach to designing and constructing suitable SDA homes for the long-term.
