As part of Appendix H under the updated NDIS SDA rules, this South Nowra home was developed to allow the Participant to live with family members who are not eligible for SDA. This funding category enables families to stay together and provides a new pathway for meeting complex support needs within a stable home environment.

The home features enhanced accessibility options tailored to the participant’s needs, including height-adjustable kitchen benchtops and a spacious, accessible pantry. There are also hoist provisions in two bedrooms, and a fully integrated sprinkler system.

A UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) ensures critical medical equipment remains powered during outages, providing safety and confidence for the resident and family.

Designed in collaboration with the Participant, their family, and their support network, this home balances practical functionality with comfort, privacy, and assistive technology capabilities.

Features Include:

  • Multiple height-adjustable kitchen benchtops

  • On-site overnight assistance room for care staff

  • Storage room

  • Tracks for hoist provisions in two HPS bedrooms

  • Sprinkler system
